How do I initiate the therapy process? It's easy. Just contact us either by email or phone. We will then set up a phone call (approximately 10-15 minutes) to learn more about why you are seeking services and to determine if our practice can assist you. We may then schedule an initial psychological consultation session to learn more about you, identify goals for treatment, and discuss our treatment recommendations.

Do you accept insurance? The Healthy Mind is considered an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance. Many insurance plans provide reimbursement for psychotherapy services (assessments, group, and individual therapy). The Healthy Mind will provide you with monthly insurance statements with the necessary codes for possible reimbursement from your insurance provider or flexible spending plan. Please note that out of network benefits depend on your individual policy product which may cover all, part, or none of your expenses. There is no guarantee you will be reimbursed and you are ultimately responsible for your fee. Most insurance plans will deny coverage for an assessment used to establish an educational diagnosis (i.e., learning disabilities). Medical insurance carriers view this as the responsibility of the patient’s school. However, coverage may be provided if the question prompting testing is the relationship of the academic problem to some other medical problem or medical treatment. It is responsibility of the patient and/or their family to clarify this with their insurance carrier.
