Services We Offer

Psychological Consultation

Patients are provided with an initial intake evaluation session to gain an understanding of your goals, challenges and preferences.  Psychological consultation is a diagnostic procedure that involves the assessment of a patient’s present thought patterns and how they affect his or her behavior and daily functioning. Diagnoses and a personalized treatment plan are discussed and developed based on a structured interview and a series of assessments.

Individual and Group Therapy

The Healthy Mind incorporates the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) within your therapy sessions. CBT is a evidence-based collaborative and goal-oriented therapeutic approach.  It is based on the premise that our thoughts and beliefs affect how we feel and the behaviors we engage in. CBT can help you develop skills and strategies to better manage various challenges and positively impact mood symptoms. CBT therapy programs are tailored to meet your specific needs.

Psychoeducational Evaluation

Full Diagnostic Psychoeducational and Neuropsychological Evaluations are helpful in determining whether learning, attentional, verbal, social, and/or emotional problems are interfering with your child’s academic functioning.  Emphasis is placed on identifying and clarifying problem areas and developing realistic goals. Test results can provide information about which accommodations are important  for your child to succeed at school. All evaluations are individualized to meet your child's specific needs.
